Since 2009, Silktime has specialised in manufacturing premium Mulberry silk bedding. Many of our products are made only after an order is placed, allowing you to choose the fabric, weave, momme weight, colour and exact dimensions. In most cases, you pay for the silk you choose rather than for bespoke tailoring itself, making individually crafted silk bedding far more accessible than many customers expect.

What Makes Silktime Different?

Beautiful silk fabrics are only one part of exceptional bedding. Equally important are the quality of tailoring, the construction of every seam, and the attention given to details that are often invisible at first glance but become important after years of everyday use.

Every Silktime silk bedding product is sewn using specifical double bedding seams (offten called french seems). This construction requires considerably more time, precision, and craftsmanship than ordinary seams, producing stronger joins, cleaner finishing, and greater durability.

Whenever possible, we use extra-wide silk fabrics specially woven for bedding, allowing large silk sheets and duvet covers to be made without unnecessary centre seams. The result is a smoother sleeping surface and a cleaner appearance.

Every finished product is individually inspected before leaving our workshop. We never reduce quality to shorten production time, yet most bespoke silk bedding orders are completed within only 5–10 business days.

Silk Pillowcases

Your pillowcase remains in direct contact with your face and hair for many hours every night, making its fabric especially important. The naturally smooth surface of Mulberry silk allows skin and hair to glide gently across the pillow while providing the unmistakable feeling of sleeping on genuine silk.

Unlike cotton, which is made primarily of plant cellulose, or polyester, which is a synthetic fibre, natural silk is a protein fibre. Its composition is therefore closer to the proteins naturally found in human skin, making genuine silk feel exceptionally smooth and comfortable during prolonged skin contact.
